Professional qualification in an engineering, management, IT or commercial discipline
Experience of implementing project controls systems and processes on large design or construction
Experience of industry standard project controls systems such as Primavera, Artemis, or MS Project is essential.
Experience of Cost Management and Estimating tools is also desirable e.g. Kildrummy, SAP, PRISM
Highly conversant in both planning and cost engineering methodologies.
A high degree of numeracy and literacy is expected as is the ability to pick up new systems readily and use them in a highly effective manner.
15 years experience in planning, cost or estimating with at least 10 years spent in a Project Controls Manager role. Some supervisory experience of Document Control, Procurement and Finance is also desirable.
Membership of a professional body such as APM or ACostE is desirable.
