This process and automation software company need an accomplished Project Manager, initially for a 6-month interim assignment, to manage all aspects of the delivery of a portfolio of multi £m projects, mostly large asset management and business operations monitoring applications and associated integration services.
You will be responsible for managing scope, schedule (using Primavera and SAP), baseline docs, resources, financial control (cost budgets, milestone payments, controlling working capital), Health & Safety, Change Orders, contract/variation negotiation, Client and 3rd party management, estimating, project leadership, reporting (internal & external), compliance etc.
This role will require extensive liaison with our client’s technical teams and their clients, so you will need excellent communication and negotiation skills, to develop the best possible customer relationships, and the ability to develop and foster teamwork when managing both local & remote personnel, including those working on the client’s sites.
Mandatory skills and experience:
- Proven track record delivering large scale process control or automation software projects, running for 12 months+
- Experienced in advanced control, simulation, blending, alarm management, LIMS, MES, material tracking etc
- Capable of successfully delivering projects <£10m annual value
- Experienced working in a refining / petrochemical environment
