Our SASKATOON OFFICE is seeking a SITE PLANNER for the Colonsay Project in Saskatchewan to support  ongoing project 

JOB DUTIES:

GENERAL
? Actively behave in a manner conducive with a safe culture  
   and demonstrate a strong personal commitment to safety
? Ability to work in a multi-discipline environment as a team   
   member.
? Ability to work with clients and project personnel to achieve  
   project outcomes.
? Comply with all requirements of the Project Execution Plan 
   (PEP) relating to duties and responsibilities of this position.
? Dealing with internal and external client’s requirements.

SPECIFIC
? Review and manage contractor Level -4 schedule, Do  
   variance analysis, highlight key issues impacting                  
    progress and recommend action plan.
? Approve Contractor progress 
? Attend all contractor progress meetings
? Update overall Level 3 and Level 2 schedule based on the  
   contractor level 4 schedule
? Review outgoing bid and advise and approve contract  
   durations
? Update monthly progress report.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:

Essential
? Engineering diploma or degree.
? Experience in engineering consulting in a heavy industrial 
   environment.
? Planning/scheduling experience in large or mid size 
   projects on site
? Proficiency in MS project, Suretrak and Primavera P3 
   software.
? Good general basic understanding of all engineering 
   disciplines.
? Good oral and written communication skills.
? Self-motivated.
? Ability to work unsupervised.

Desirable
? Previous experience working to safety standards
