We currently seek a Lead Cost Engineer for a long term, overseas assignment. The assignment will be based in Saudi working on a multi billion pound Oil and Gas Project. This opportunity is with a leading organisation within the Energy & Chemicals industries.

This is a rotational role.
Key duties for this role will be to:
Act as Lead Cost for this mega project
Develop and maintain the cost management baseline and systems for the project to include but not be limited to the following:
Development and maintain of Home Office/Construction budget establishment
Take overall responsibility for timely and accurate cost coding of all field/home office purchase order requisitions, subcontracts, and labor
Administrate change management for all Home Office/Field related items. This will also include management of the change log and input and reconciliation into the cost reporting system
Develop trends, change orders, and budget shifts
Be responsible for timely and accurate cost forecasts
Conduct training in cost systems and/or methodologies
You must have experience of:
Large projects and working in the Middle East
FDCost experience preferred
Working within the mining or oil/gas sectors for at least 10 years.
Working at a Lead Cost Level
Supervising a small team of Cost Engineers.
You must have a Bachelor's degree.
The ideal candidate will have experience of working for major EPCs such as Bechtel, KBR, Fluor, Foster Wheeler etc.
