About this job

We are looking for our client, a famous EPC Company, a Senior Cost Estimator/Estimator to join their team in UK (multiple locations).

The Senior Cost Engineer/Estimator can be technically responsible for an area of work and supervises preparation of deliverables.

They will be expected to have a broad range of experience in estimating comprising of both onshore and offshore facilities, entailing construction, erection and installation of offshore platforms and onshore process facilities.

Required skill set and experience: Typically will have 5 - 10 years Estimating or Cost Engineering experience.

A broad knowledge of all aspects of estimating from feasibility studies to detailed design through to EPIC / LS concepts. Familiarity with proprietary software Questor HND or

Technical degree qualified

Job purpose:
The Cost Controller is responsible for the management and reporting of all costs and revenues of project he/she has been allocated.
Reporting lines and interactions:
Hierarchically reports to: the Cost Control Manager or Deputy Cost Control Manager
Operationally reports to: Operationally cost controller will be part of the project team and report to the Project Manager
Key interactions (internally, externally):Stream Managers, Project Financial controllers, Senior Cost Controller, Contract Engineer, Commercial Manager, Planner and QHSES

Main Roles and Responsibilities
Responsible to establish the first project budget/forecast based on handover bid from Sales Department
Responsible for the updates of changes to the forecast based on inputs from project management and other project team members as applicable
Responsible for monthly Project Cost Report and Project Management Report
Preparation of monthly invoices to Client and follow up works
Follow up reimbursable costs
Evaluate the economic impact of changes/variations in scope of work
Perform economical analysis, forecasts, deviations reports etc
Increase other Departments
