Our client is one of the leading consultancy providers to the Infrastructure sector and as a result of new awards, seek Procurement Consultants x3 at various levels to be based in London, Bristol or Birmingham paying £50-70,000 + package
The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work with a high performing consulting services team and for sector leading clients on major projects across the UK and internationally.
Specific sectors include:
Aviation rail, utilities, energy, highways, public services (NHS, Justice, Defence) and Commercial Property.
As the Procurement Consultant, you will be required to assist the project teams within the department, advising and delivering contract and procurement services both pre and post contract stage. OJEU experience ideal
You will have knowledge of the following:
Experienced in leading significant procurement projects and planning for contractual transitions.
Effectively manage debriefing of suppliers
Understand the role of contract management
Understand when and how to negotiate
Understand issues and benefits of collaboration
Demonstrate authority, drive and strong commitment to the programme
Strong attention to detail, provide pragmatic solutions for consideration within sourcing and transition strategies.
Ideally will have:
Significant procurement experience on major projects and programmes of work
Major construction (civils and building) programme experience preferred
Effective stakeholder management experience
Strategy and product development within a procurement/supply chain environment
Strong knowledge and experience of NEC3 contracts.
Experience with setting up and delivering framework contracts
