Project Controls function outlined in a business plan.

I am a Project Controls Lead for Westinghouse. Our business model is changing towards more of a construction mode. Ive been asked to improve our current PC function to meet the future needs of the company, yet am not sure what are the core or additional function of project controls. Is there anywhere i can go to benchmark, get eduction regarding the proper role of project controls? Thank you,

They have a free download on their homepage under Technical. I have worked under the direction of several of the technical board members and the TCM is an essential reference for Project Controls Initiation.
