I have the manhours forecasted but cannot get the % complete forecast to calculate correctly. I am doing it in Excel to show a graph. What formula should I be using?
I think its quite simple. Spead the mhrs to be spent over the period of time (say months) and then divide each months mhrs by total mhrs. Run this formula across all the cells (make sure you make the denominator i.e., total hours fixed by applying $ sign). Once this is done, format the cells to % style to reflect the progress to be earned for each month.
