Dear Project Controls Practitioner

Welcome to the July 2011 edition of our newsletter!

We start with conveying our special thanks to CNRL and Fortior Global for being our proud sponsors and helping us serve the Project controls Professionals around the world. There have been many developments since our last newsletter with the highlights below:

EVA 16 Event: We were proud to sponsor EVA16 event which was successfully concluded in June 2011. All the proceeds/presentations are now available on PCO website for those who missed it.

Technical Papers: In this new section of our website, you can access to number of valuable Project Controls material. We truly hope you will find this extremely helpful.

Paperback literature: Another new feature on the PCO website which allows you to find selected Project Controls literature in the paperback format.

Free Library: With so many PCO members who are contributing to the library, our Free Library now has many valuable Project Controls documents e.g., Primavera P6 reference manual or a practical presentation on Schedule and Cost Risk Analysis. More than 1000 downloads in just a few weeks would not have been possible without your support.

Project Controls Presentations: We have updated this section with many more relevant Project Controls presentation to help you further develop your knowledge in this subject. We extend our thanks to all the senior professionals for sharing their literary pieces with PCO.

Practitioners Guide: We are constantly improving our Guide and are always looking for your inputs to make this a true quality reference source. Please continue to contribute with your thoughts to help us giving shape to this section.

Your profile: We have noticed that many of our members still need to update their profile with the required information, especially country and skills as that would help corporate/employers to find you easier. This feature has been designed to purely help you in expanding your profile in this profession. If you are encountering any issues whilst performing this action, please feel free to contact us.

Jobalerts: This is another feature which has been designed purely to assist you in your job search and career development. Please note that you can set up job alerts by skills, location and even frequency. This would allow you to get the notification as soon as new jobs get posted on PCO website. Please feel free to contact us if you need any help in this regard.

Coming Soon:

Tools: We are working on providing independent feedback on existing Project Controls in the market and the reports will be published soon. In the meantime, you can always provide feedback based on your experience. To help you in this effort, we have created a dedicated forum which can be accessed by clicking here.
