Earned Value, in its 21st year, #eVa21, is organizing a conference with an announcement that EVM will become an ISO standard.
Steve Wake, Conference Organiser, says "Bringing Projects to Life, themes this year include the development and impact of the global standard in addition to the rise of PMO, transition to Agile and 'Value for Money' delivery.
Project Managers today are faced with rapidly emerging challenges and massive opportunities including; culture, behavior and the pace of societal change. We'll address these too.
Once again eVaintheUK welcomes top-notch speakers that will shine a light on developments and thinking harvested from their intimate knowledge of the global PM community. Reinhard Wagner, President of IPMA and Antonio Rodriguez, Chair of PMI Board are flying in to address the conference.
Delegates will be able to choose a complimentary copy of their books; The Gower Book of Programme Management, new edition to be exclusively launched at #eVa21, or The Focused Organization - How concentrating on a Few Key Initiatives can dramatically Improve Strategy Execution.
Bringing Projects to Life will put Agile Project Management under the Microscope as well as providing the launch pad for APM PMC SIG's Integrated Baseline Review Publication.
Over more than two decades we have learned so much about effective project management but this year, the announcement that EVM is to become an ISO standard, represents a giant leap forward. This conference marks a watershed moment for our profession and I believe that this will be our best yet."
