Dear Project Controls Practitioner, Welcome to the January 2011 edition of our monthly newsletter! We have completed our successful 1st year last week and we are extremely glad to note the success we have made so far. Some quick statistics for you; we have now reach in over 120 countries with over 2500 members in less than 12 months! Check out the new interactive global map which allows you to find your fellow Practitioners by region/country. It also demonstrates that the popularity of PCO is spreading worldwide! PCO give you all the functionality necessary to connect and interact with fellow project controls members, create groups, upload news/pictures and so much more. Although we are still "in progress" however, below is quick rundown on some updates on current and new features. And more about what's new at PCO this year: JobZone: In response to the overwhelming interest shown by our members in this section, we have made a major upgrade to JobZone. Members can now post/search new jobs not just by country, but also by region and even by regional location! You can also customise your "Email Notifications" by speciality as well as multiple physical locations. "Email Notifications" is a feature that allows you to receive automatic notices via email whenever a job is posted that meets your specifications. Global and flexible opportunities are just a click away so ACT NOW and find that perfect career opportunity you've promised yourself in 2011 ! Info-Pad: We have secured agreements with various Project Controls Event organisers who have agreed to share their event presentations - this is now LIVE on PCO! Also, have a look at exclusive White papers and presentations on Earned Value prepared by some of the most senior experts in the industry. Avatar : Check out PCO in all new Avatar - with better functionality and appearance. We continue to be crisp, clear and simple to give you the highest value with the least hassle. PCO Want YOU: We have been flooded with requests for populating a variety of data in our Reference Zone. Particular interest has been expressed in schedule templates for varying project types (by sector and phase). To this end, we invite you, our valued customers and professionals in project controls, to develop and publish/promote any literary pieces you may wish to share. They may be offered free or for a fee, depending on your preference. Under the Premium Library, you can market your content for whatever price you set. We will not mark up your price; our goal is simply to provide an outlet for you to information-share with fellow Project Controls practitioners.
