Dear Project Controls/Management practitioner, The newly formed EVIAP - Earned Value International Advisory Panel is holding its first event in Lisbon, Portugal on November 15 and 16 on the subject of Project Control and Earned Value. Its aim is to share experience internationally about Project control subjects, including but not limited to Earned Value. A first major issue for debate will be whether an ISO for Earned Value should be developed. We are seeking speakers to present Project Control Topics. They do not have to be about Earned Value. We are particularly interested in topics that address: Project scope, WBS Planning and estimating Schedule maturity Time analysis and forecasting Project risk Leadership Teamwork Problem solving Challenges and their solution Effective reporting and communication Learning from experience The presentations have to be in English but we will give preference to speakers who can share experiences from all over the world; and we have established the objective of having at least 70% of the sessions to be people that work in developing countries and continental Europe. More information can be found at www.eviap.org Thanks, Steve Wake EVIAP Panel Chairman APM Earned Value SIG APM Planning SIG Jose Angelo Pinto EVIAP Panel PMP, MIS, OPM3 CC Ambithus |
